KUWAIT, April 21 (KUNA) -- 1976 -- His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issued law 18/1976 concerning organizing trade with sales prices.
1976 -- His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, issued law 19/1976 concerning abuse of phones and communication means, with a penalty of six months in jail or KD 100 fine or both in case of such violation.
1979 -- Gymnast Jawad Askar retired after a 15-year career.
1988 -- Kuwaitis, headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the passengers of Kuwait Airways' Al-Jabriya airplane, which was hijacked for 16 days, during which two Kuwaiti citizens were killed.
1992 -- His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, issued decree 63/1992 according to which the Social Development Office is established to study the social and psychological impacts of the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait.
