ISTANBUL, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Five fighters affiliated to Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in southeastern Turkey, the Turkish General Staff announced Sunday.
The Turkish General Staff added in a statement that Turkish fighter jets killed five (PKK) members in raids launched over Shamdenly province.
Turkish army and security forces started targeting (PKK) as a response to terrorist attacks carried out by its members against civilians and security elements.(end) ta.nhq
