KUWAIT, Dec 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait take taking part in the Bangladesh's 17th Biennial for Asian Art, which features feature 127 artists from 54 countries, with host country winning awards for eight paintings.
Kuwait is joining other countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, the US, Canada, as well as some Asian and european countries, Dr. Bader Al-Duweesh, Assistant Secretary General for Arts in the National Council for Culture, Art and Letters (NCCAL), said in a statement Friday.
Al-Duweesh, who would lead Kuwait's delegation to the Biennial, noted that the Biennial opened yesterday under patronage of Bangladesh's Minister of Culture Asaduzzaman Noor and would end on December 31. (end) shd.bs
