BEIRUT, Oct 26 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) delivered medical equipment to Rafik Al-Hariri University Hospital in an effort to aid displaced Syrians receiving treatment there.
The delivery was made in cooperation with Lebanon's Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross, said KRCS delegate to Lebanon Dr. Musaad Al-Enezi in a statement to KUNA on Wednesday.
He noted that the KRCS provided medical care, including surgeries, dialysis and others services, for Syrians refugees in different Lebanese cities.
There are currently over one million displaced Syrians in Lebanon, living in refugee camps that lack the basic facilities. The Syrian crisis has been ongoing since March 2011. (end) mah.ag
