KUWAIT, Oct 22 (KUNA) -- Another 47 people on Saturday registered for the forthcoming National Assembly (parliament) elections slated for November 26th.
The First Constituency produced five candidates, while the Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth constituencies gave two, three, 16 and 12 hopefuls.
Thus, a total of 199 candidates, involving 193 males and six females, have registered for the coming parliamentary race so far.
As per Law 20/2012, a total of 10 candidates will be listed in each constituency. The electorate can only vote for one candidate per constituency. (end) abd.mt
