MANAMA, March 10 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa is to head to Saudi Arabia on Friday to attend the "North Thunder" military exercise, official media reported Thursday.
King Hamad will attend the military show upon an invitation by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Bahraini Royal Court said in a statement, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
The "North Thunder" exercise is considered as the biggest Arab and Islamic military maneuvers that have been seen in the region with participation of 20 Arab and Muslim countries, in addition to the Peninsula Shield Force, the statement said, adding that the event is held at King Khalid Military City in Hafar Al-Batin City in northern the Kingdom.
