JEDDAH, July 4 (KUNA) -- The Saudi Interior Ministry on Saturday said a lawbreaker Youssef Al-Ghamdi who was wanted on security charges after the killing of a NCO Al-Taif was killed in exchange of fire with the police.
Police surrounded Youssef Al-Ghamdi's house in Al-Taif and an exchange of fire took place as he refused to give himself up, the ministry added in a statement.
On Friday, the ministry said a police sergeant was killed in clashes with Al-Ghamdi who managed to run away from the house he was hiding in. Other three suspects were caught in the house where the police also found Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) logos, gun suppressors, and computers. (end) nh.msa
