ABU DHABI, March 28 (KUNA) -- The United Arab Emirates' fighter jets continued on Saturday their strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen's Sanaa and Ma'reb.
These strikes are part of the Operation Decisive Storm carried out by the Saudi-led coalition to "protect the Yemeni people and legitimate government from the violent and extremist Houthi militias." In Sanaa, the fighters targeted the Scud air defence systems and Houthis camps, said an official statement carried by Emirates News Agency (WAM) on Saturday.
The fighters also struck air defence systems, command and control centres, and logistics storage and supply centres in Ma'reb, it said, noting that all fighter jets returned to their bases safely.
The UAE is taking part in the military operations against Houthis in Yemen as part of the coalition that includes at least ten countries to protect Yemen's people and the legitimate government. (end) asa.hm
