BEIRUT, March 3 (KUNA) -- A soldier and a wanted individual, Abdul Rahman Ahmed Tamer, were killed on Tuesday in an exchange of fire in the northern town of Bhannine, said Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) Tuesday.
Bhannine town and other areas in northern Lebanon witnessed last October several clashes between the Lebanese army and armed groups which led to the death and injury of many individuals.
The army and security forces, which managed to take control of the area, are still on the hunt for wanted individuals in the northern parts of the country. (end) wsm.gta
