DOHA, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry Khaled Suleiman Al-Jarallah asserted here on Tuesday success of the 35th GCC summit and its positive results on the Gulf and regional levels, thanks to the keenness of the GCC leaders in this regard.
Al-Jarallah described to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after the closing session the atmosphere of the summit's deliberations as "very positive", thanks to the keenness of the GCC to make this summit a success.
Al-Jarallah added that this year's summit was distinguished as it came a year after the conclusion of the Kuwait summit which was a difficult year on the Gulf Cooperation Council, but through the wisdom the GCC leaders, these difficulties have been overcome.
He explained that this summit comes to culminate the success and positive outcomes reached by the GCC leaders, indicating that what was stated in the final communique embodies what has been reached and discussed of issues related to the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council, besides other regional and international issues.
He noted that the final communique came clear to comment on these issues and expressed the position of the GCC countries on them, indicating that everybody has felt relief and satisfaction of the summit and its results, thanks to keenness and wisdom of Qatar's Amir to make this gathering a success.
