CAIRO, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby Wednesday warned of escalating Israeli violations and provocations in Al-Aqsa Mouse and East Jerusalem.
In a statement to reporters, Al-Araby said that there are ongoing contacts with Arab countries and the Palestinian leadership to discuss a required Arab move to stop the Israeli aggression, referring to Arab League resolution aimed at supporting the Palestinian issue.
He added that Jordan submitted a complaint to the UN Secretary Council to take an action against such violations, indicating that there are ongoing talks aimed at holding an urgent meeting to discuss that "blatant aggression" committed by Israel.
Al-Araby said there would be a meeting on the Palestinian issue with the European Union countries to urge them to recognize a Palestinian state as Sweden did days ago. (end) mfm.aff.hm
