ISLAMABAD, Dec 21 (KUNA) - At least six suspected militants were killed and two were wounded in a US missile strike on Friday in Pakistan's troubled Waziristan tribal region, said officials.
An unmanned US aircraft fired two missiles at a house in Khaso Khel area of North Waziristan tribal agency, security officials told KUNA.
They said the strike flattened the house and killed at least six suspected militants. About two others were also wounded. Some unconfirmed reports suggested that among those killed were foreigners of Uzbek origin. The strike took place hours after a similar aircraft crashed in the neighbouring South Waziristan agency.
