KUWAIT, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- The 2012 National Assembly elections not only a political festivity but also an economic one, as many restaurants and cafes carefully prepared for this day.
In statements to KUNA, owner of a bakery said that he prepared many orders for this eventful day, an opportunity to increase profits by 900 percent.
Meanwhile, barber shop owner Jalal AL-Sayyed, said that during elections day he receives customers from 3:00 a.m., as ways to serve all voters and candidates.
Also, Bilal Al-Nafie, owner of a restaurant, said that many take advantage of this event to increase product prices, as in return the amount of sales increase.
