1920 -- Tribal leader, named Faisal bin Sultan Al-Dwaish, attacks Kuwaitis
residing in the village of Hamdh and killed many of them.

Real-Estate Company at a capital of KD three million.
1999 -- Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdel Qader
Bajmal re-opens the embassy of his country after closing for nine years as a
result of Sanaa's backing of the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait.
2000 -- The World Health Organization (the regional bureau of the Middle
East) praises Kuwait for adopting a successful strategy to fight tuberculosis.
2000 -- The National Assembly amends 5th article of nationality law by a
44-vote majority, granting nationality to residents whose residency dates
before 1965, instead of 1945.
2001 -- The Kuwaiti banks federation is established in line with the state
policy to unify banking terms and audit systems.
2001 -- The committee for prosecuting ministers takes a decision canceling
a case filed against former oil minister Sheikh Ali Al-Khalifa Al-Athbi
Al-Sabah.
2005 - Kuwaiti Parliament agrees on giving women their political rights in
a historic session after a vote of 35 ayes, 23 nays, and an abstention out of
