Kuwaiti player affirms readiness for Judo competition on Friday

ATHENS, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- Kuwait judo player Majed Sultan asserted Wednesday
his full readiness to compete in the Olympic judo competition in Athens on
Friday.
Speaking to KUNA, Sultan said that the failure of Kuwaiti shooters in
winning any Olympic medial would make him more force to put more efforts in
order to honor Kuwaiti sport.
He described the competition as tough, with world champions taking part.
Sultan, who is playing in the 100 kilograms category, said that this game
depends on fitness and concentration in addition speed.
He hoped that he would clinch a spot and the winner's podium to see
Kuwait's flag rising in this international sport venue.
Other Kuwaiti players, including sprinter Fouzi Dahsh will also play the
qualification round on Friday for the 400 meters race.
Kuwaiti only female athlete, Dana Al-Nasserallah will also compete in the
qualification round for the 100 women meters race.
In the hammer competition, Kuwaiti player Ali Al-Zankawi is also expected
