Kuwait, Sudan eye closer labor coop.

KHARTOUM, March 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwait and Sudan have agreed to promote and develop bilateral cooperation in the fields of social affairs and labor, as well as expertise transfer.
This was announced by visiting Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Sabeeh and Sudanese Minister of Labor and Administrative Reform Dr. Ahmed Babiker during a joint news conference here on Thursday.
Al-Sabeeh, who doubles as minister of state for economic affairs, called for cementing inter-Arab cooperation in order to address challenges bearing on the implementation of 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She said Arab and Muslim countries should work together in order to fulfill their people's different needs by means of expertise transfer.
On his part, the Sudanese minister said what has been agreed with the Kuwaiti side reflects amity, respect and understanding between both Arab nations.
During her stay in Khartoum, the Kuwaiti minister has also met with Sudanese Minister of Welfare and Social Security, Mashaer Al-Dawalab. (end) mmm.mt
