OIC condemns ballistic missile attack on Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned on Tuesday the ballistic missile attack launched from Yemeni territory towards Saudi Arabia.
OIC Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen said that the current attack reflected the ill intentions by the Houthi militia in Yemen towards Saudi Arabia.
OIC Chief reiterated the organization's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, condemning the new ballistic missile attack.
Earlier today, a ballistic missile was intercepted by the Arab coalition supporting the legitimate government in Yemen. The intercepted attack caused no casualties or damages.
On November 4, the coalition command said they had intercepted a similar missile targeting the city.
Examining the debris of the missile, and another intercepted on July 22, revealed the Iranian regime's role in the production of these missiles and smuggling them to the Houthi militias in Yemen to attack the Saudi people and vital interests, the coalition said in a statement. On Thursday, the US ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley provided proof supporting the coalition's statement, including an "Iranian missile" delivered from Iran to Yemen's Houthis who launched it on Riyadh.
