Egyptian Pres. says forces will hunt down terrorists

CAIRO, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi said a terrorist attack against a mosque in northern Sinai Friday, which killed 235 people and injured 109 others, would only strengthen the will of the Egyptians to fight terrorism.
Egyptian armed forces and police would avenge the victims of the attack on Al-Rawdah mosque in Bir Al-Abed, west of Arish city, to restore security and stability, Al-Sisi said in an speech on state TV.
"We will retaliate fiercefully against this terrorist action," he asserted.
Al-Sisi meanwhile held a meeting with ministers of defense and interior, and intelligence chief to discuss the attack, presidency spokesman Bassam Radhi said in a statement.
He said they discussed efforts to pursue the attackers. (pickup previous) esm.bs
