Turkey arrests 27 PKK suspects, west of the country

ISTANBUL, Nov 24 (KUNA) -- Turkish security forces arrested 27 suspects from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in Izmir city, west of the country on Friday.
Turkish news agency (Anadolu), quoted security sources as saying that based on intelligence reports of 30 suspects in the city, and raid operation took place, but only 27 were arrested.
The sources added security units were able to arrested two fugitives who also work for PKK, but did not give further details.
All those arrested were transfer to anti-terror apparatus, the sources said, adding search operations will continue to arrest the remaining suspects. (end) ta.mb
