His Highness Amir prioritizes youth's role in development - official

SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah is paying much attention to activate the role of young people and promote their participation in achieving development, mainly "Kuwait's 2035" vision, said an official on Sunday.
Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs Mishal Al-Subaie made the statement, on the sidelines of the opening of the World Youth Forum currently held in Egypt.
Al-Subaie said the Kuwaiti delegation partaking in the six-day forum would shed light on several issues which concern youth, mainly voluntary actions and efforts by young people in this regard.
He referred to government bodies' attention to issues of youth and the advanced index on youth development.
He underlined the importance of topics on the forum's agenda, revealing that the event will focus on some key items like business management and improvement of entrepreneurial environment as well as the role of youth in building the future.
The forum brings together 3,000 young people from 50 countries across the world so as to provide resolutions to challenges and share expertise, he made clear.
The Kuwaiti delegation would present distinguished experiments carried out by the Kuwaiti young people, he concluded. (pickup previous) ms.esm.hm
