Israeli warplanes raid Lebanese-Syrian border area

BEIRUT, Sept 19 (KUNA) -- Israeli army launched two air strikes on a Lebanese-Syrian border area, official media reported Tuesday.
Israeli warplanes raided Al-Rashaha hill, located at the Lebanese-Syrian borders east Shebaa town, according to National News Agency (NNA).
Meanwhile, Israeli army shot down an Iranian-made surveillance plane near the Syrian border.
According to Israeli media, the plane, launched by Hezbollah militants, flew over the northern Israeli city of Safed and was intercepted by a Patriot missile. (end) wsm.nq.ma
