KUWAIT, Sept 16 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Saturday affirmed that the recent visit to China by a Kuwaiti delegation paved the way for a future economic partnership.
The delegation, headed by Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan, met with officials of 22 government authorities, public and private conglomerates, said the ministry in a statement alluding the mission on September 5-11.
Talks during the visit dealt with luring more Chinese investments to Kuwait, bringing in Chinese expertise and backing medium and small enterprise.
The mission was in line with His Highness the Amir strategy on transforming Kuwait into a global business hub, the 2035 State vision and implementing the government approach to find income resources other than oil,
The official statement affirmed the approach to prepare the business environment in Kuwait for boosting enterprise and diversify the economy. (end)
