Chechen president condemns "genocides" against Muslims

MOSCOW, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov on Monday called for halting the blood spilling in Myanmar and punishing those responsible for "genocides against the Muslims." Ria Novosti news agency broadcast the remarks by the president Ramzan Kadyrov during a huge demonstration in the Chechen capital Grozny in solidarity with the Muslim Rohingyas.
"Massacres against humanity in Myanmar must stop," said president Kadyrov, likening the arbitrary military practices against the Rohingyas to those of the Nazis.
"They have deprived one million Muslims of the right to living," he said, condemning the military authorities' measures against the Muslims in Myanmar. He also accused them of murdering Muslims, setting their houses on fire, burning children or dumping them into rivers.
The Chechen president criticized the international community for being inactive toward these "genocides." (end) as.rk
