Landmine explosion kills three soldiers, injures another in NE Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug 20 (KUNA) -- Three Lebanese soldiers were killed and another wounded on Sunday when their army vehicle came under a landmine explosion in northeastern Lebanon, the Lebanese army said.
The landmine explosion took place when the vehicle was on the way to Njasa-Joroud Arsal roundabout, the army said in a statement.
The Lebanese army began last week to deploy its troops at the areas where Syrian armed groups pulled out. (end) wsm.mt
