Registration for cultural extravaganza now open - Kuwaiti council

DUBAI, Aug 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti businessmen based in Dubai are calling on all those interested in participating in the forthcoming season of Dubai's "Global Village" to sign up for the lavish gala now.
Speaking to the press, Saad Al-Rubaiaan, the head of the Kuwaiti business council, said that a workshop scheduled for August 19 would provide all the information needed on how to join the festivities.
He described the event as the "biggest cultural and touristic spectacle in the Middle East." The Kuwaiti businessman said that Kuwait's booth at the event will offer visitors an unforgettable experience through giving them a taste of Kuwaiti culture.
Al-Rubaiaan revealed that Kuwait's pavilion stretches on 3,065 square meters with 53 stores selling special memorabilia and that registration is now open on www.kuwaitbc.ae.
Touted as the biggest seasonal shopping and cultural event in the region, Dubai's "Global Village "attracts more than 5.6 million spectators from 95 nations. (end) smr.nam
