KUWAIT, Aug 5 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil barrel dropped 38 cents reaching USD 48.77 per barrel on Friday, compared to USD 49.15 pb on Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.
Meanwhile, prices rose in the international markets yesterday, affected by positive US reports on the rise of demand for energy.
West Texas crude went up 43 cents reaching USD 49.46 pb, while Brent crude future contracts rose 39 cents to reach USD 52.40 pb. (end)
