KUWAIT, Aug 1 (KUNA) -- Al-Tamdeen Real-Estate Company posted KD seven million (approximately USD 23.2 million) worth of net profits in H1 2017 (17.4 fils per share) declining 1.3 percent as compared to earnings in same period of 2016.
The company said in a statement, posted on Boursa Kuwait website, shareholders' equity totaled KD 142.2 million (some USD 471.3 million) in H1 2017 in contrast to KD 128.2 million (USD 424.9 million) in the past year first half.
Assets totaled KD 481.9 million (USD 1.59 billion), liabilities KD 253.9 million (USD 841.5 million) against KD 219 million (USD 725.8 million), also comparing the same periods.
Al-Tamdeen, established in 1982 and enlisted in Boursa Kuwait in 1995, invests in property in and outside Kuwait. It also develops realty ventures, manages property, establishes and runs real-estate investment funds, conducts studies and provides consultancy. (end)
