Al-Aqsa Mosque doors reopened for all ages - Islamic Awqaf Dept.

RAMALLAH, July 28 (KUNA) -- The Islamic Awqaf Department said Friday all doors of Al-Aqsa Mosque were reopened for worshippers from all ages and without restrictions.
All doors were opened paving way for hundreds of Palestinians from all ages to perform Maghreb and Ishaa prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque, Feras Al-Debs, the department media official, told reporters.
Israeli occupation forces imposed tight security measures around Al-Aqsa Mosque before Friday prayers and banned all people below 50 years old from entering the mosque.
Sporadic clashes took place in the West Bank, including in occupied Jerusalem, which wounded 225 Palestinians.
Meanwhile, Russia called for maintaining the situation in Jerusalem as it was before the closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The foreign ministry called for refraining from all unilateral measures which would undermine the final settlement. (end) nq.as.bs
