Palestinian dies of wounds in clashes with Israelis

RAMALLAH, July 27 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian young man on Thursday died of wounds in recent clashes with Israeli forces, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
Fatehi Kanaan, 26, who sustained wounds during a confrontation with Israeli occupying forces three days ago, died at hospital today, the ministry said in a press release on Thursday.
The latest fatality has brought the total of Palestinians killed in clashes with Israeli forces since last Friday up to five. Earlier in the day, scores of Israeli forces stormed Al-Aqsa courtyards and attacked worshippers after they concluded Al-Asr (afternoon) prayers.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that at least 50 Palestinians were wounded when the Israelis intensively fired gas and sound bombs at worshippers at Al-Asbat and Hetta Gates, as well as inside the holy complex. (Pick up previous) nq.mt
