KUWAIT, July 25 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Tuesday that it will co-organize the 29th annual pearl diving trip next Thursday which will be held under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
In a press release, KPC Deputy Managing Director for Relations and IT Sheikh Faisal Al-Jaber Al-Sabah said that the upcoming event would promote GCC values and solidarity amongst the youth of Kuwait and the region.
Regarding KPC involvement, he affirmed that the corporation was always eager to contribute to the bolstering of cultural identity and preserving Gulf heritage, affirming that it was part of KPC's social responsibility.
The 29th annual pearl diving trip will begin from Kuwait Sea Club located in Ras Al-Salmiya area. (end)
