IRBIL, July 13 (KUNA) -- Kuwait on Thursday delivered 30 tons of food aid to the eastern district of Iraqi city of Mosul Public Relations Officer at Ronahee Foundation Saleh Mahdi told KUNA that 30 tons of essential food items have arrived in Mosul.
He lauded Kuwait's important and unmatched aid and support to Mosul's war victims.
Moreover, Mahdi thanked Kuwait for helping people facing severe malnutrition in the war-torn Iraqi city, as "mass starvation is threatening the lives of around 10,000 people.
Since the operation to liberate Mosul began last October, an incessant flow of Kuwaiti food aid had poured into the city. (end) sbr.haq
