KUWAIT, July 8 (KUNA) -- A Chinese delegation intends to visit Kuwait next Monday in an attempt to look into means to bolster strategic ties, said a Kuwaiti diplomat on the visit that would last for four days.
Speaking on the visit, Kuwaiti Ambassador to China Sameeh Johar Hayat told KUNA Saturday that both sides were eager to boost relations on all possible domains.
The visit will contribute to the development of ties and will hopefully add to the Kuwaiti leadership's vision to turn Kuwait into an international commercial and economic hub.
The (Kuwait 2035) and China's (Road and Belt Initiative) have much in common, said the Ambassador who indicated that the upcoming Kuwaiti-Chinese meetings on July 10 will focus on finding links between the two plans and connecting the dots.
He said that the Chinese delegation will be informed about the latest progressions in several Kuwaiti development projects, looking into ways to provide Chinese expertise and experience. (end) oq.gta
