Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Visiting the Ali Al-Salem Al-Sabah Air Base
KUWAIT, June 25 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Sunday voiced proud of the honorable role played by the Kuwaiti Air Force, fulfilling the missions they were tasked with.
Visiting the Ali Al-Salem Al-Sabah Air Base, the minister highlighted the leading and distinct role of the Kuwaiti Air Force pilots, and troops in the Operations Decisive Storm, and Restoring Hope supporting legitimacy in Yemen, performing their mission "accurately and professionally."
Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled thanked the Saudi political leadership, with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on top, and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud on top, for their support to the Kuwaiti troops in the two operations.
Meanwhile, the minister said that the entire international community is confident of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's wisdom, and blessed moves to heal the rift in the Gulf.
He stressed the prime importance of the human element which is "more important than weaponry and jets" , congratulating the Defense Ministry's staff, commanders, officers, NCOs and individuals on Eid Al-Fitr (Lesser Bairam).
He also conveyed to them greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the occasion.
On his part, Air Force Commander Major General Abdullah Al-Foudari, thanked Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for his visit to the base, referring to his directives to the force, to be always brave and on alert as well as having a spirit of sacrifice, for the sake of the nation. (end)
