JEDDAH, June 25 (KUNA) -- Saudi Crown Prince and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammad bin Salman discussed during a phone call with German Chancellor Angela Merkel Sunday means to bolster ties as well as recent developments in the region and the world.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Merkel took the chance to congratulate Prince Mohammad on being chosen as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. She also congratulated him on the advent of Eid Al-Fitr.
The German Chancellor also expressed condemnation towards the recent terror plot, which targeted the city of Makkah. (end)
