Three 'Takfiris' killed in security raid in Sinai - Egyptian army

CAIRO, June 16 (KUNA) -- Three members of the so-called 'Takfiris' were killed and one arrested in Sinai during security raid by law enforcement troops, Egyptian army said Friday.
The Defense Ministry, in a statement, said the raids also resulted in destroying two motorcycles used by these Takfiris (Arabic for Islamist militants accusing other fellow Muslims of blasphemy).
The operation is part of the armed forces efforts to compact terrorist activities and prosecute any Takfiri operations in the region. (end) aff.nhq
