Def. Minister heads to Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT, June 1 (KUNA) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has left for Saudi Arabia to check the Kuwaiti forces involved in the "Operation Restoration of Hope." The minister was accompanied by Chief of General Staff of Kuwait's Army Lieutenant General Mohammed Khaled Al-Khader, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and a number of senior army officers.
The Minister was seen off at the airport by Defense Ministry Undersecretary Jassar Al-Jassar, Deputy Chief of the Kuwaiti Army General Staff Lieut. Gen. Abdullah Nawaf Al-Sabah and senior army officers. (end) sss.asa.ss
