KUWAIT, May 28 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable on Sunday to Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, expressing his deepest sympathies and condolences over the loss of life caused by flash floods in the southwest of the country.
In his cable, His Highness the Amir wished all those wounded by the deluge a speedy recovery and hoped that Sri Lankan authorities would be able to overcome the natural disaster.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent similar cables to the Sri Lankan President. (end)
