Suicide operation leaves 3 people killed in Diyala, Iraq

BAGHDAD, May 28 (KUNA) -- Three people were killed on Sunday in a suicide blast in Diyala province, southeast of Baghdad, Iraqi police said Sunday.
The police told KUNA that a suicide bomber blew himself up close to a security checkpoint near the main entrance gate leading to the governorate.
The attack resulted in the death of three people and the injury of 15 others.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, it added. (end) aha.tg
