KUWAIT, May 15 (KUNA) -- Brazil's Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply Blairo Maggi, on Monday urged Kuwaiti investors and companies to establish partnerships with Brazilian counterparts to open up fresh prospects for economic cooperation between the two countries.
Maggi is currently leading a businessmen delegation on a Kuwait visit to bolster ties, the minister told a meeting for the representatives of the Kuwaiti business sector at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI).
He pointed to the large industrial potential his country owns in the fields of food supply, livestock, fish wealth, infrastructure and logistics.
The minister reviewed the advantages of investing in Brazil; swift and smooth flow of capital; full exemption of direct investments; and a strong capital market.
On his part, KCCI Deputy Chairman Abdulwahab Al-Wazzan, stressed the deep-rooted ties between Kuwait and the South American country.
