Kuwait wins 1 gold, 2 silver in Asia field and track tourney

KUWAIT, April 27 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti track and field team won one gold medal and two silver ones in the Asian grand prix competitions held in China.
The head of the Kuwaiti team, Seyar Al-Enezi, told KUNA BY phone that Ibrahim Rmaid bagged a gold medal in the 800-m run while Yaaqoub Al-Yoha took a silver medal in the 110-m hurdles and Yousef Karam won an identical one in the 400-m run.
The team had won four medals including two Gold ones. Total number of the medals won by the team has reached seven. (end) ayr.rk
