KUWAIT, April 27 (KUNA) -- 1951 -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Alآ­Said visited Kuwait.
1955 -- Cabinet approved building Alآ­Sabah Hospital.
1991 -- Alآ­Safat Mail Office reopened after liberation from Iraqi invasion, starts receiving customers.
2004 -- Minister of Trade and Industry Abdullah Alآ­Taweel opened Courtyard Marriot Hotel in Alآ­Raya complex in downtown, first of its kind in the Middle East.
2010 -- Germany President Horst Kohler Kuwait awarded His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Alآ­Ahmad AlJaber Alآ­Sabah a Federal Order of Merit, in appreciation for his role in expanding cooperation and for boosting bilateral relations, and in turn His Highness the Amir awarded the German leader Mubarak Alآ­Kabeer Medal.
2010 -- Kuwait National Team for Disabled won Kuwait First Athletic Games championship for the Disabled.
2011 -- Ministry of Education and Sabah Alآ­Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity signed Memo of Understanding to bolster discovery of Kuwaiti creative students in preliminary schools. (end) gta
