British PM meets EC Pres. on Brexit

LONDON, April 26 (KUNA) -- British Prime Minister Theresa May met with President Juncker of the European Commission at a working dinner in Downing Street on Wednesday night.
The constructive meeting this evening dealt with a range of issues with emphasis on the activation of Article 50 on the UK exit from the European Union, a Downing Street spokesperson said.
Following the UK's letter of notification under Article 50, the Prime Minster reiterated the UK's commitment to achieving a deep and special partnership with the EU, according to the spokesperson. (end) mrn.gb
