CAIRO, April 26 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Arab Parliament Dr. Meshaal Al-Salmi on Wednesday lauded humanitarian financial allocations for Yemen during Geneva's donors conference held on Monday.
He, in a statement, heaped praise in particular upon Saudi Arabia which donated USD 150 million for relieving the war-stricken Yemenis, Kuwait for earmarking USD 100 million and the UAE which declared an identical sum.
He urged the UN to secure delivery of the aid to those who deserve the assistance in Yemen and called on the rebels to allow entry of relief convoys to areas under their control. (end)
