HARGESIA, Somalia, April 26 (KUNA) -- A Kuwaiti medical team arrived late Tuesday to Somalia on a trip to carry out several operations and provide treatment.
Speaking to KUNA, Somali Presidential Affairs Minister Mahmoud Hashi lauded the Kuwaiti Shifaa (healing) team for this gesture aimed at providing humanitarian aid and assistance to the drought-stricken country.
He thanked the Kuwaiti leadership and people for assisting Somalia, affirming that the Gulf country had left a positive impact on the needy in the country.
The Kuwaiti team consists of 15 medical staff and administrators tasked with providing medical and humanitarian assistance to the Somali people. (end) no.gta
