Iraqi Gov't forces seize Al-Nasr district in Mosul

IRBIL, April 20 (KUNA) -- Iraqi government forces, engaged in a wide-scale military operation to drive gunmen of the so-called Islamic State out of the northern city of Mosul, have retaken the distrit of Al-Nasr in the embattled city.
A military statement said the anti-terrorism squads captured the district in the western part of the city.
"The Iraqi flag has been hoisted atop buildings in the neighborhood," the statement said, noting that "the enemy suffered losses in equipment and souls." (pickup previous) sbr.rk
