RIYADH, March 29 (KUNA) -- Security forces killed two gunmen during a raid near Al-Awammiah in Al-Qatif, East the Kingdom, spokesman the Ministry of Interior Major General Mansour Al-Turki said on Wednesday.
Maj. Gen. Al-Turki said the regulars were fired upon during a raid targeting a farm, used by terrorists as a hideout, north of Al-Awammiah, on Tuesday. They returned the fire killing two gunmen and apprehending four others.
They are all Saudis with criminal records, he said, adding that the personnel have seized and confiscated incendiary materials concealed in two adjacent farms, materials used for making explosives, guns' magazines and bullets. (end)
