GCC condemns deadly attack near British parliament

RIYADH, March 22 (KUNA) - The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned Wednesday's deadly attack near the British parliament in London, which left several people dead and over a dozen injured.
In a press statement, GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani stated that the GCC states strongly denounce "this horrendous crime" which contradicts with all human and ethical values and principles.
Al Zayani expressed his confidence in the ability of British security authorities to uncover the circumstances of "the cowardly attack".
He also stressed solidarity of the GCC countries with the British government and their support to any security measures it may take to preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.
He extended condolences to the British government and families of victims, and wished speedy recovery to the wounded. (end) od.ibi
