Kuwaiti researchers Khaled Al-Rabie and Latifah Al-Fadaghi wins youth statistics research awards at the 1st GCC statistics forum
RIYADH, March 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti researchers Khaled Al-Rabie and Latifah Al-Fadaghi won youth statistics research awards at the 1st GCC statistics forum, kicked off in Riyadh Monday evening.
"I won the award over a research I compiled about different ways for analyzing mega data," Al-Rabie told KUNA after receiving the award.
He noted that he has discovered, through data analysis, the grave impacts of some elements on environment and their role in polluting air in Kuwait.
He dedicated his award to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahamd Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and all Kuwaiti people.
For her part, Al-Fadaghi said that her research was about compiling and processing of statistics in the education sector in Kuwait.
"I have conducted a statistical comparison between public and private educational institutions in Kuwait from pre-school to high school levels to forecast the educational needs for ten years to come," she told KUNA. Al-Fadaghi said that her study was based on the quantitative approach, which requires real data, which she got, and helped her produce results with 99 percent accuracy rate. She added that this award is an important motivation for her to continue research and hard work to reach more success.
She dedicated the winning to Kuwait leadership and people. (Pickup previous) mdm.ibi
