KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Bourse Company announced on Monday that it has signed a deal with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACA) to activate the electronic signature (e-signature) tool.
In a press conference, Deputy Chairman and CEO of Kuwait Bourse Khaled Al-Khaled said that the company has encouraged companies listed on Kuwait Bourse to embrace the use of automation as part of a broad strategy to ensure a meticulous and accurate information platform.
Moreover, he noted that the company has partnered with PACA since it is the only body authorized to issue Civil IDs to all Kuwaiti residents.
Speaking on the launch of an automated system, Al-Khaled said it was part of efforts to provide "reliable information in a productive and efficient manner." On the process to activate the e-signature procedure for companies listed on Kuwait Bourse, he said that representatives of the respective companies should visit one of PACA's offices to initiate the system.
Meanwhile, Director General of PACA Msaad Al-Asousi hailed the deal as a step towards greater cooperation between the public and private sectors, saying that the endeavor will spare time and effort in providing quality services. (end) mka.nam
