CAIRO, March 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwaitis are willing to support and aid their leadership's plans for financial and commercial development through participation in numerous regional and international events, said a Kuwait official Friday.
In a statement to KUNA on the sideline of the 50th Cairo International Fair, representative of Kuwait's Ministry of Commerce and Industry Wessam Jumea said that the ministry was keen on partaking in Cairo's annual event, affirming that such participation will enable the government body to further develop via solidifying cooperation with other participants.
The event will allow the Gulf country to promote its products, said the official, revealing that the Kuwaiti delegation will take the chance to promote the second Kuwaiti commerce exhibition during the fair.
Jumea added that the participation also reflected Kuwait strong ties with Egypt, affirming that her country will always support Egypt's economic, financial, and commercial ventures.
The 50th Cairo International Fair was opened on March 15. The event will continue for a period of ten days. (end)
